Folk on a Friday
Tomorrow, 26 April BBC Radio Cymru will be mostly playing folk music from Wales. They’ll be playing favourite tacks, live performances and talking to some of Wales’ greatest folk musicians.
Already planned:
Dafydd a Caryl will be asking for listeners to send in their favourite tracks and talking to our own Project Officer Angharad Jenkins from the group Calan.
Nia Roberts will be broadcasting live from Tŷ Siamas, the National Folk Music Centre, Dolgellau. She’ll be talking to Siân James and listening to an exclusive track from her new CD. Arfon Gwilym and Ywain Myfyr will be taking part.
Geraint Lloyd will be talking to Parti Gungrog, Gai Toms will be performing live for Lisa Gwylim, Ifan Evans will be in conversation with Ryland Teifi and Threatmantics will perform a live session for Huw Evans.
