Aber Tune Club meets 6.30 - 7.30 Mondays in Llanbadarn Church Hall. An opportunity to learn and play Welsh tunes - aimed at beginners/intermediate. £1 per week.

gwerinABERfolk hold acoustic open sessions every Tuesday from 8.30pm downstairs at the Bay Hotel, Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth, open to all who want to come and sing, play or listen.

Ammanford Folk Club meets at 8.30 every Wednesday night for a 'Come All Ye' at The Farmers Arms, Penygroes, Ammanford where they will give you a very warm welcome.

Every Wednesday starting at 8.30 - Singers Night. Everyone is welcome - entry is free

The Second Tuesday Folk Club is held at  Whitchurch RSS club, Cardiff, CF14 2TH, on every second Tuesday of the month. It's is a very well-attended folk club; folk song, folk dance, folk music old and new, poetry and pints. Everyone is welcome; come and give us a tune!

We aim to provide a permanent acoustic music venue in Chepstow to promote folk, blues, jazz and roots music from professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians and singers.

Conwy Folk Club is now at The Royal British Legion Club, right next door to the old venue 'The Malt Loaf'. with ample nearby parking and just over the road from the main railway station. The club still meets on a Monday night, with the music starting at about 8.30.

We meet every third Thursday in the month from around 8.30. The evening consists of an open mic session where visitors wishing to play may book a slot with Ian at the beginning of the evening.

The Acoustic Lounge can be found every Thursday night at Cwmaman Institute, Alice Place, Cwmaman, Aberdare, Mid Glamorgan CF44 6NY. The acoustic lounge has been promoting concerts every Thursday for the last six years.

Folk at The Oak! (Tuesday evenings in the Royal Oak, Main Square, Fishguard, for a lively session of music, song, and maybe even storytelling and dancing.

Meets every Sunday night 8.30 at the Greyhound Inn, Oldwalls, Llanrhidian, Gower. Guest nights once a month. Singers' nights in between. All welcome.

2nd Thursday of the month at 9pm. Entry is free. While there are no hard and fast rules the folk music at the Blue Bell Inn is generally traditional in style and focuses on Celtic / British folk in particular.

An open mic club without mics for all abilities, and all forms of music that don't need plugging in. To be honest, we could do with some more 'folk'.

The Islwyn Acoustic Guitar Club was established in January 2002 and is Wales's only musical venue specialising in the acoustic guitar. In spite of the guitar focus club events are diverse ranging from solo guitar, singer-songwriter, Welsh or international traditional duos and trios and occasionally Chapman Stick or bass guitar recitals.

Acoustic Roots Club at the Golden Grove Hotel, every third Friday.

Llandeilo Acoustic presents between four and six shows per year of the best in folk, jazz, blues and roots music.

3rd Friday of every month. Llanfyllin Workhouse at Llanfyllin in Powys presents a diverse mix of traditional sessioning, dance classes and live bands.

Llantwit Major's answer to noise pollution....... the 3rd Monday Accoustic Club is a random and informal gathering of acoustic performers and music lovers. The club meets at 8pm in the upstairs function room of the Boverton Castle. No PA/amplifiers - just real music. All are welcome!

We meet at the Newport Fugitives Athletic Club, off High Cross Road, Newport NP10 9AD, come rain or come shine.

The Lyceum Folk Club, Newport meets every Thursday in the Function Room at Lyceum Tavern, Malpas Road, Newport.

We organise concerts of traditional music - mainly from the Celtic countries - at the Last Inn, Hengoed near Oswestry.

Meets every Wednesday evening at the Pontardawe Inn (Y Gwachel) Herbert Street, Pontardawe, Nr. Swansea.

The Acoustic Clwb meets every last Wednesday from 8.30 at Globetrotters Bar, Bridge Street, Pontypridd CF37 4PE

We are sure we have the oldest Folk Club in North Wales and we also suspect we’re the oldest F.C. in all of Wales too.

The Riverside Accoustic music club meets  at the South Riverside Community Development Centre in Cardiff. The next session will start on Tuesday May 1, 2012  and every first Tuesday of the month therafter. 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Rumney Folk Club meet once a month in St. Augustine's church hall on Whitehall Parade, Cardiff. There, everyone is treated to a diverse range of folk/acoustic music welcoming musicians to perform regardless of skill or age.

Wrexham Folk & Acoustic Club has been in existence for over 40 years in various local venues. The current venue is The Nags Head, Mount Street, Wrexham. The upstairs function room has proved ideal and provides an intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics for the unplugged music and singing.
