Cardiff: Second Tuesday Folk Club
The Second Tuesday Folk Club is held at Whitchurch RSS club, Cardiff, CF14 2TH, on every second Tuesday of the month. It's is a very well-attended folk club; folk song, folk dance, folk music old and new, poetry and pints. Everyone is welcome; come and give us a tune!
Chepstow Acoustic Music Club
We aim to provide a permanent acoustic music venue in Chepstow to promote folk, blues, jazz and roots music from professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians and singers.
Conwy Folk Club
Conwy Folk Club is now at The Royal British Legion Club, right next door to the old venue 'The Malt Loaf'. with ample nearby parking and just over the road from the main railway station. The club still meets on a Monday night, with the music starting at about 8.30.
Crumlin Folk Club
We meet every third Thursday in the month from around 8.30. The evening consists of an open mic session where visitors wishing to play may book a slot with Ian at the beginning of the evening.
Cwmaman: The Acoustic Lounge
The Acoustic Lounge can be found every Thursday night at Cwmaman Institute, Alice Place, Cwmaman, Aberdare, Mid Glamorgan CF44 6NY. The acoustic lounge has been promoting concerts every Thursday for the last six years.
Fishguard Folk Club
Folk at The Oak! (Tuesday evenings in the Royal Oak, Main Square, Fishguard, for a lively session of music, song, and maybe even storytelling and dancing.
Gower: The Halfpenny Folk Club
Meets every Sunday night 8.30 at the Greyhound Inn, Oldwalls, Llanrhidian, Gower. Guest nights once a month. Singers' nights in between. All welcome.
Halkyn: Blue Bell Inn, Halkyn, NE Wales
2nd Thursday of the month at 9pm. Entry is free. While there are no hard and fast rules the folk music at the Blue Bell Inn is generally traditional in style and focuses on Celtic / British folk in particular.
Holyhead: Clybod - Canolfan Ucheldre
An open mic club without mics for all abilities, and all forms of music that don't need plugging in. To be honest, we could do with some more 'folk'.
Islwyn Acoustic Guitar Club
The Islwyn Acoustic Guitar Club was established in January 2002 and is Wales's only musical venue specialising in the acoustic guitar. In spite of the guitar focus club events are diverse ranging from solo guitar, singer-songwriter, Welsh or international traditional duos and trios and occasionally Chapman Stick or bass guitar recitals.

Llantwit Major's answer to noise pollution....... the 3rd Monday Accoustic Club is a random and informal gathering of acoustic performers and music lovers. The club meets at 8pm in the upstairs function room of the Boverton Castle. No PA/amplifiers - just real music. All are welcome!

Rumney Folk Club, Cardiff
Rumney Folk Club meet once a month in St. Augustine's church hall on Whitehall Parade, Cardiff. There, everyone is treated to a diverse range of folk/acoustic music welcoming musicians to perform regardless of skill or age.
